The “Logan Leopards” (our school mascot) are adopting the Amur Leopard which is considered to be critically endangered. It is facing an extremely high risk of extinction in the wild due to poaching, deforestation and development projects. It is believed that there are fewer than 40 left in the world. Funds for the adoption will be raised through our Annual First Grade Bake Sale and all proceeds (usually $300 - $500) will be donated to the World Wind Fund for Nature. Participating in the green School ceremony are Mrs. Gulick, Mrs. Hart and Mrs. Ellis. |
